Reserve Bank of India Recruitment 2025: The Reserve Bank of India Services Board (RBISB) has come out with a fresh recruitment notice for 2025, inviting skilled professionals to join the Reserve Bank of India on a contract basis. Under Advertisement No. RBISB/DA/04/2025-26, RBI is offering 93 openings for expert-level roles in key areas such as the Department of Information Technology, Premises Department, and Department of Supervision.
This recruitment drive is aimed at bringing experienced talent into specialised positions across the bank. Interested candidates can start applying online from December 17, 2025, through the official RBI website.
Posts and Vacancies
A total of 93 vacancies are announced across different departments. Most posts are in Grade C, with a few positions in Grade D and Grade E. The major departments include:
- Department of Information Technology
- Department of Supervision
- Premises Department
Some popular roles include data scientist, data engineer, cybersecurity analyst, risk analyst, credit risk specialist, project manager, and Programme Coordinator. Most positions are based in Mumbai, though RBI may post selected candidates anywhere in India if needed.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility depends on the specific post. In general, candidates must have:
- A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree (such as Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, MBA, CA, etc.)
- Required work experience ranging from 3 to 10 years, depending on the role
- Age limits are usually between 25 and 45 years, with relaxation for reserved categories as per government rules
Candidates must meet all eligibility conditions as of December 1, 2025.
Selection Process
The selection process will be handled by the RBI Services Board. It usually includes:

Salary and Contract Details
Selected candidates will be appointed on a full-time contract basis for an initial period of three years, which can be extended up to five years based on performance.
The monthly consolidated salary is very attractive:
- Grade C: starting from ₹3.10 lakh per month
- Grade D: starting from ₹4.30 lakh per month
- Grade E: starting from ₹4.80 lakh per month
Housing allowance is included, and annual increments of 7% are applicable.
