Women from poor families who are the main member of the house are given ₹2500 per month so that they can manage their lives in their own way.
LPG cylinder:
An LPG cylinder is an important household need. In this scheme, a cylinder is available at ₹500.
Free bus travel:
Women, girl students and transgender people can travel free in buses. However, this travel is applicable only for TSRTC buses.
Eligibility criteria
Housing:
Only permanent residents of Telangana can get the benefit of this scheme.
Family condition:
Only women from BPL families are eligible to apply.
Family earning:
Families whose annual income is ₹2 lakh or less are eligible for this scheme.
Main member:
Those families where the woman is the main member, such families are given support.
From one family, only one woman can apply for this scheme.
Cylinder subsidy:
For cylinder benefit, the woman must have a valid connection in her name.
